The story: FRED is a little ant, who is always hungry for knowledge. In the first book, he explored the natural laws around his home in the forest. For a long time, he has been dreaming to visit the nearby city and explore it. Will he get there? And which role does Karla the ant play in this story?

New experiments with FRED and his friends is appropriate for children around 5/6 to 8 years and can be used for higher groups at kindergarten and at primary school grade 1 and 2. The experiments demand certain fine motor skills. Describing and reporting the experiments expands the children’s vocabulary, they will get familiar with first technical terms and train their concentration and memorization.
New experiments with FRED and his friends is a folder containing of:
- 1 teacher’s guide with substantial information on natural sciences and experiments.
- 1 story book for reading aloud to the children
- Explorer cards with depictive instruction of the 16 experiments.
